'Waves & Cakes'

После недостаток на козјо млеко на пазарот, одсега повторно ќе бидат достапни новите сапуни со таа прекрасна состојка. Ако сте во прилика, напијте се од него, многу е поздраво од кравјото, го подобрува имунитетот и побогато е со храниливи материи.

Но, да се вратиме на сапуните. 

Во 'World Soap Challenges 2013' колекцијата има некои со козјо млеко,  тие наскоро ќе бидат достапни во сет. Со нетрпение чекам да ви ги представам во пакетчиња.

Новиот сапун со козјо млеко изгледа вака:

Зошто е 'Waves & Cakes'?
Поради неговиот таласаст изглед и поради тоа што мириса на лимон и ванила, овој сапун го доби своето име.
Кафеавите делови во него уште ќе потамнат, поради присуството на ванилин, состојка на сите мириси кои содржат ванила.

Целата течност во овој сапун заменета е со млеко. Веројатно  многу пати сум кажала до сега колку ги сакам сапуните со козјо млеко, но морам да признам дека многу ми е тешко да направам обичан сапун со козјо млеко. Но, ветувам дека и тоа ќе се сличи. Тоа е за сите оние кои имаат многу осетлива кожа и сакаат сапун без додатоци на мириси и бои. Сакам 'Diva Soap' работилницата да биде асоцијација, не само за добри, здрави и природни сапуни, но и за уметнички, креативни и секогаш единствени сапунски креации. Секогаш се прашувам зошто  нештото да биде добро само за едно сетило, кога може да биде добро и за очи и за нос, а се разбира, првен за кожа.

Боите се природни (а пречистени, козметички) пигменти, додека розевата е боја за прехрана (FD&C - Food Drugs &  Cosmetic), а кафеавата од какао прав.

Освен маслата кои ќе ги прочитате во составот, уште да ви  кажам дека во овој сапун содржи и какао путер, кој ќе ви ги доближи 'Cakes', додека сте под 'Waves', во вашата бања!

Goats milk available again and I have so many plans on using it for different designed and non-designed soaps to come. This one won't enter 'Natural Diva'  Line, cos it smells so good like vanilla and lemon. I need to establish my regular two lines I've been planning for so long, and this one definitely goes to 'Diva Chique' Line. 

Maybe you would think I got fed up with stripes, after Amy's challenges, but obviously, I miss them, lol. These both fragrances behaved so well, I only wish they all did! 

 Now, when I think better, I might do leo spots again,hi,hi! No, seriously, I've been planning to tweak a little the technique and try to get somewhat different pattern. We'll see!

'HIMALAYAN'

Хималајската сол е нешто релативно ново на овие простори. Како луѓето се повеќе се свртуваат кон здравата исрхана, се повеќе откриваат и нови артикли кои ги воведуваат во секојдневниот живот.

Јас хималајската сол ја воведов и во сапуните!

Да не навлегуваме во сите бенефити кои можеме да ги искористиме од ова сол, ќе се задржиме само на нејзините дејствиа на кожата.

Хималајската сол е богата со дури 84 минерали, меѓу кои и калциум, бакар, магнезиум, калиум и железо. Таа е позната по своите терапевтски способности да ја подобрува циркулацијата, да ги одстранува токсините и да го отпушта телото. Поседува моќ на прочистување и подмладување на кожата, а заради минералите во неа, не ја исушува ниту сувата кожа.

До сега сигурно сте имале барем еднаш некој проблем со кожата, можеби со сува ,перутава, или со мрсна кожа, склона кон акни.  Како стареете, почнувате да го приметувате недостатокот на еластичност на кожата, која за последница има појавување на фини линии, а оваа сол е одлична и како дел од anti-aging терапијата. За хималајската сол се вели дека помага кај проблеми, како што се екцеми, акни и псоријаза. Исто така, делува антибактериски и антивоспаллувачки. 

Благодарејќи на нејзините компоненти, масажата со Хималајската сол помага да се ослободат штетните супстанци и отрови од целото тело. Исто така, ја стимулира секрецијата на вишокот вода од лигаментите, така што помага да не се  наталожуваат штетни  материи и целулит, додека порите и кожата стануваат поцврсти, појаки, поздрави, и тоа на потполно природен начин.

Бидејќи ја подобрува циркулацијата, сапунот со Хималајска сол ја омекнува грубата кожа на рацете, лактовите, стопалата и може да служи како фантастичен помошен третман при зајакнувањето на ѕидовите на вените.

Покрај сите бенефити од Хималајската сол, овој сапун содржи поголема количина на ши путер и кокосово млеко, кој ќе ве негува и хидрира.

Како да го користете 'Himalayan':

Првен, добро напарете се под туш со топла вода 20-25 секунди, за да ви се отворат порите.

Натријте го сапунот помеѓу раце и со рацете истријте се.

Ако кожата некаде ви е испукана, или избричена, не го нанесувајте 'Himalayan'.

Првото чувство на солен сапун е пецкање на кожата. Тоа чувство ќе се изгуби за  2до 5 минути. Кожата се ослободува од токсините, а тоа  вие го чувстувате како пецкање. Со понатамошното користење на сапунот, ќе се изгуби секаков вид на пецкање.

I have made my first salt bar. I choose to try Pink Himalayan Salt,not only for its benefits, but also for its colour. I didn't wanted to add neither colours, nor scents, but I couldn't resist adding some f.o. only to these flower-shaped soaps. Those I will keep for myself.

This salt I bought is, as you can see, finely ground, what I really like. I think it would be too coarse for skin, if it wasn't, considering its amount in this bar (75%). 

I've been so curious about salt bars, as many people are so delighted with them and use them on regular, daily basis. I know some of you like them a lot, so I wanted to check myself what makes them so special.  I also have read that they are excellent for dry and even sensitive skin, for eczema, psoriasis and other skin disorders. 

So, I decided to give those little hearts away to those who have problems like these and  where the salt bar might help. I count on these lovely properities Pink Himalayn salt provides, as a great source of minerals. It improves blood circulation and it can be used for strengthening walls of blood vessels. And the most interesting, it is used as a part of anti-aging treatments.

The only three oils & butters I used for this soap, are: coconut, shea butter and castor oil. Also, this soap is with coconut milk, for extra bubbles and creaminess. I will let it cure for few months at least, but I know I will try it much sooner. The best results are obtained within six to twelve months, though!

Get your body ready for summer!

I just wanted to share with you what I've been up to lately!

In case you don't have a fb profile, or you've missed my recent posts, you can take a look here

First I made new batch of whipped shea body butter. I'd had this order from quite long back

Then, I just thought it would be great to make some sugar scrubs,as a giveaway to my loyal customers. I've made them before, but for the first time, I used my own CP soap. It was so fun, simple and quick and I think it complements this butter,or a soap (or both) just perfectly. After having them unmoulded and cut, I rolled them into extra sugar, making them to look like jellybones we have here (I adore those jellies). 

Do you know this recipe 1-2-3? 1 part of oil, 2 of soap, 3 of sugar! Could it be simplier?

I made three separate batches. In the third I added activated charcaol, not only for colour, but for detoxification effect, too (the black one is in the right upper corner on the last photo). I was eager to try one, so headed to take a bath with my new cube the very first evening. My skin really loved it. The extra oil  (olive and almond) the cubes contain is so moisturizing and left my skin so smooth and baby soft.

We have holidays here, starting from tomorrow, up to Tuesday (tomorrow is interntional holiday, May Day - Labour Day and just afterewards it's Othodox Church Easter), so I have decided to make a special offer with these cubes for everyone who would buy a soap these days.

World Soap Challenges- Final Week

Hello everyone!

We're done with Amy's challenges for this year! 

I enjoyed these challenges for so many reasons, but the most valuable is that I had a chance to discover some soap artists I hadn't known before. So, thanks Amy for organizing this year's fun for all of us. I believe you enjoyed, too, but yet, you were the one who had to prepare  a new video every week, new instructions and afterwards to visit everyone's blog or page and encourage everyone of us.

Let me say first I feel I didn't give my best (though, it's not that I was not trying), but every new batter brings me another risk, I almost never work without surprises, lol.

This week's challenge was something I had tried before (you can see my first 'Leo' soap  here), but I can say this one gave me the headache the most. Ok, let's start!

The First batch:  "Hey yellow, where are you???"

I still don't know what happend here!? For my not-meant-to be yellow, I used yellow oxide, and that puzzles me even more!? The inner spots were piped, the outer scooped with a spoon.

Ok, this is a nice soap loaded with shea butter and avocado oil! Liquid used- Whey! I think this will be great nourishing bar. But, for this challenge- it's just not what is was supposed to be!

The Second batch: I'm not giving up and rolling my sleeves up again! Now I opted for green, as basic colour and kiwi fragrance. I was considering adding poppy seeds into the base to give it more kiwi look, but gave it up in the last second, thinking it would be maybe too much. Now, I think I should have gone with poppy, it would have been charming. This time I left my piping bags behind and tried pouring with spoons. One teaspoon, the other one was smaller. Let's see what I ended up with

WHAT??? Now, I'm furious! What the heck has happend here?

I think I know. My 'spots' portion were unfragranced and stayed so perfectly smooth and middle-traced all way long. On the other hand, my base portion, was fragranced and was slowly setting up. I think that this thicker, basic portion pressed the thiner leyers underneath and made them spread. By the way, this soap has a lots of ash! But, the ingredients are fab, so much cocoa and shea butter! Whey again for whole liquid amount!

And the Final one: New ride, guys! New colours, new method, sweet almond oil in place of butters and goats milk for liquid . Oooh dear, it soaped fantastically! This time I took two piping bags (zip bags,actually) and cut their corners as little, as I could.! Unmoulded, not cut:

Don't ask me how I ended up with NO ash on tops!!? I have no idea,but  I'm glad I did! 

And what I have found inside:

Not bad this time! I still can complain about this one (my spots should have been placed differently), but boy,  I must say I am so tired of this leopard design, I'm not going to repeat it soon again! I really need some rest ! I love these colours and no ash on tops. Do you think ash is related to butters amount in the batter? This one is without any, unlikely the previous one, which contained  both cocoa and shea butters and have had so much of ash!

'Forest Wind'

Новиот сапун за мажи!

Се уверив дека мажите, иако помалку ги купуваат природните сапуни, многу добро знааат што сакаат. Или, поточно кажано, што им одговата. Се трудам постојано да имам неколку видови на машки сапуни и навистина бргу останувам без нив.

Овој сапун е направен поради  размената која штотуку ја завршивме, а с оглед на тоа дека во неа учествуваше и еден маж, јас овој го сапун направив за него. Првиот примерок отиде за Хрватска! Вито, се надевам дека уживаш во сапунот!

Сапунот содржи јогурт и со оглед на тоа дека содржи само пет масла, најдобрите од нив се и во најголем процент. Овој сапун обилува со какао путер, што го чини нежен и погоден за сите типови на кожа.
Мириса.....многу добро. Има јаки, машки ноти на шума, на свежина, па така си го доби името. На сите што го помирисале многу им се допадна. А и на мене, морам да признаам.

I'm trying to have in stock at least one man soap. They seem to care about what they wash up with and really appreciate when find something it works for them.

This one was made intentionally, for the swap I had mentioned before, because one of the participants was a man. So, the first piece of this one went to Croatia!

It contains yogurt, as a half part of liquid needed and cocoa butter at generous percentage.

Colours are pigments and TD.  Fragrance is typical masculine type, fresh, strong it reminds me of  deep forest,really, really good! Any man must like it!

Thanks for reading, hopefully I'll soap tomorrow to make my envisioned 'leopard' soap come true!

World Soap Challenges- Week Three

I'm maybe the last one to post on this (I mean third) week challenge!

But, better late, than never,right?

This soap has collected nearly 90 likes on FB page 'Soaper's Retreat' by now!

I never guessed it would be like this, but now you will see why!

The mica swirled tops are totally put astray here!

Now, time to reveal what has drown everyone's attention:

I was suggested on 'Soaper's Retreat' page to put it on E-bay for an auction! Funny, I never thought of this and I have no idea how to do that! Some say this soap price would rocket!  I don't know what to think.

When I cut it, I wasn't even excited about the way it looked. Not even when I sow these faces. But, many seem to think differently. Now, I'm more confident about its look.

I have only three of these, others are more like these two (on the right and behind):

They are fine,I like them, they just are not faces!

What a lucky accident! After so many not-so- lucky ones, I guess it was my turn to discover unexpected and yet, pleasent look of soap!

Ok, just have to tell that this soaps contains goats milk 100% , for colorants were used nettle and pumpkin puree (the orange portion is swirled with green) and rosemary-peppermint essential oil blend.
